Part I Objectives

After completing this section of the program, the participant will be able to:

1. Describe a successful CE program and the evidence that can be used to demonstrate successfulness.
2. Explain the six levels of outcomes based evaluation.
3. Provide examples at each level of outcomes based evaluation.
4. Assess the logical “next step” for one of your CE (or educational) programs
5. Summarize the medical and pharmacy literature demonstrating outcomes of CE programs
6. List several resources for further study.
