In this article, the authors describe the implementation of a CPD program for pharmacy learners at a community health system in the Southeastern USA. This approach involved incorporating the CPD cycle into the performance review process, with pharmacists required to develop SMART learning goals. Overall, the CPD process was perceived positively by pharmacists and pharmacy managers, with the majority of respondents reporting improvements in job enjoyment and patient care as a result of participation in the CPD process.
